1. Learn carefully about the company/department applying for:
– Business lines and characteristics of the unit
– Culture and working environment
2. Important notes about the position you are applying for:
– Main roles and tasks (job description)
– Experience, skills, and knowledge required for the position applying for
3. Prepare appropriate answers to common questions
– Tell me about yourself
– What do you know about our Company
– Why do you like this job?
– Why do you want to work for us?
– Why do you want to change jobs?
– Do you have any questions for us?
4. Practice interviews with friends
– Always remember to make eye contact and smile (No one wants to work with an unhappy colleague, right?)
5. Save all important documents
(Cover letter, recommendation letter, portfolio…) in a storage folder so that it is clean and easy to retrieve and give to the interviewer when needed.
6. On interview day:
– Choose professional attire (Pants/skirt + shirt/collared t-shirt…)
– Arrive 5 – 10 minutes early than scheduled
– If you cannot make an appointment, notify the employer as soon as possible
