Steps to register temporary residence for foreigners working in Vietnam.
Step 1: Prepare necessary documents
- Certificate of enterprise operation (Business registration license, Investment license, Operation license of VPDD, branch…..)
- Certificate of seal sample registration or Written notice of posting information about the enterprise’s seal sample on the national business registration portal.
- Work permit or certificate of work permit exemption according to regulations
- Form NA16, Registration of seal sample and signature for the first time at the Immigration Agency
- Form NA6, Official dispatch and application for temporary residence card for foreigners
- Form NA8, Application form for temporary residence card for foreigners
- Letter of introduction for Vietnamese employees to apply for a temporary residence card at the Immigration Department.
- Original passport (Note that the passport has a visa for the right purpose of work)
- Temporary residence card in use
- Photo 2cmx3cm: Attached 02 photos (White background)
Step 2: Contact the Immigration Department
- Buy the cover sheet at the toll counter and fill in all information
- Submit application and wait for results (After 5 working days excluding Saturday and Sunday)
